What we store
Your email address and name from Google sign-in; the books, covers, audio and videos you create, including any voice recordings you make in the app; and a record of what each video cost us to make. We do not store your password — sign-in is handled by Google — and we never see your card details, which go to Lemon Squeezy.
Who else sees it
Your cover and audio are sent to the AI providers that generate and transcribe: Google, both directly through Google Cloud and through the Vercel AI Gateway; OpenAI, which transcribes audio; and Replicate. They process the files to return a result. The app runs on Vercel, files are stored on Vercel Blob, and the database is hosted by Neon.
What we do not do
We do not sell your data, we do not use your covers to train models, and we do not post anything anywhere on your behalf.
Anyone you add to your account
Some plans let you add a second person. Anyone you add can see everything on the account — your books, your covers, your audio and your videos — and anything they make belongs to the account, not to them. They cannot see billing. Removing them ends their access immediately.
Deleting it
Deleting a book or a video removes it from your library. Where a file is still used by a finished video you have not deleted, the file itself is kept until that video goes too — otherwise deleting a track would break videos you already made and downloaded. To remove your account and everything attached to it, including the files, email hello@bookreels.app and it will be deleted within 30 days.
Cookies
One session cookie, set when you sign in, so the app knows who you are. No advertising or tracking cookies.
